Our flagship facility, situated in Ashton Court, is the perfect environment for our holistic approach to education. Access to green space, clean air and working within nature is scientifically proven to enhance physical and mental wellbeing. While many of us take it for granted, many young people do not have access to these spaces - especially those from low-income families or urban settings.
'Access to green space is important to the mental well-being, overall health and cognitive development of children' - Sciencedirect
Sessions at the centre are designed and led by our qualified teachers and SEMH specialists. We have a wealth of experience in teaching and education across the SEMH sector, including schools, PRUs, prisons and other alternative provisions. We know how to meet the needs of children and young people on an individual basis.
Our centre offers a wide and diverse curriculum for our students. We understand the huge impact positive experiences have on our young people, we also understand the opportunities that gaining academic and vocational qualifications can open up. We think that these two approaches are not mutually exclusive, and hope our offerings dovetail across the two.
'A curriculum needs to be ambitious and designed to give learners, particularly the most disadvantaged, the knowledge and cultural capital they need to succeed in life' - OFSTED
We aim to build resilient, independent and well-rounded students through a bespoke yet varied programme. Our specialised therapeutic interventions, sports-coaching and unique outdoor setting gives our students a platform to learn new skills in a way they haven't been able to before.
